These guys have been nothing short of amazing. Being my first experience building a home, I’ve had a lot of queries and changes along the way. First homebuilders have supported me through it all and made the process seemingly easy and memorable. Can’t thank them enough and definitely can’t wait to move in to the dream home we created together later in the year 🥂

JAY MINGI. That's the name of the person you are looking for if you are planning to build your own dream house! We have tried almost all the sales consultants of most builders and their response to us are all the same, FIX YOUR CREDIT FILE FIRST THEN WE CAN HELP YOU. But that is not the case with Kuya Jay and First Homebuilders. He helped us in everything. From fixing our credit file, design & finance, he helped us beyond limits. Pre-start went smooth as well! Like a walk in the park! Stacey is very helpful and very patient! We have faced too many obstacles while we were processing for our home loan, almost gave up,but Kuya Jay is always there to make sure that everything will be okay as long we put our trust in him. And that is what exactly we did. We gave all our trust to Kuya Jay. And here we are now finally!! So in behalf of my family,I want to give our eternal gratitude to Kuya Jay for all of his hard work & efforts. As two first home builders, my partner and i were overwhelmed with the amount of calls and forceful attitudes responding to our enquiries. We were left completely uncomfortable and really pressured after every conversation.
Meeting up with Declan and Ryan at First Homebuilders was truly a breath of fresh air. We were welcomed so warmly, and left our first meeting with our minds made up, we were going to build a house!
Everything is explained extremely thoroughly, and no question is a burden to them. It is so reassuring to know that we have this team by our side through this entire process and i honestly believe no other company can come close to the customer service and the quality that these guys provide. They’ve been a wealth of knowledge, easy to work with and very accommodating up to our current phase in building. When we approached First Homebuilders we had become very weary of the first home buyers industry due to a string of negative experiences.
Our experience with First Homebuilders has been above board. Declan, Ryan and the team clearly understand that a win for the client is a win for them as well.
First Homebuilders has a wonderful dynamic, where they meet each client at their level and use their knowledge, connections, experience and expertise to try and get close to or even beyond the client's goal, where possible.
We have to keep pinching ourselves because their team is honest. They have integrity and transparency.
Their experience and knowledge means we're not just going to have to settle for anything that's thrown at us, but we're actually building a beautiful, quality, practical, functional home, that is even optimal for re sale should we choose to sell in the future.

My husband and I had looked at building several times in the last few years and never felt that we were getting quality service, or that we would get a quality house for the money we would be paying. We eventually signed up with a different builder because they sold us an idea, but kept so many things hidden from us that would disappoint us in the future and cause circumstances that could be avoided. We became a number. After two months of the admin process, we were sure of that.
One night we met with one of the gentleman from FHB at an event and he said he worked at First Homebuilders who build ‘boutique’ homes, so we set up a time to meet with them. They met with us for three hours and went through ALL the details that we would need to know. Keeping in mind that we had already started this process with another builder, so they would have to blow us out of the water!
THEY DID!!! AND MORE!!!!!
FHB offered us a very comparable price for a product that is of far superior quality!!! Plus a house plan that will suit our family’s needs well as our land shape was small and an unusual shape. They thought of all the council requirements and made use of the space that was available. The level of detail is like no other builder we came across, they have thought of it all!
We are now at the stage where we are about to sign off on our working drawings, finalise our prestart selections and soon to settle on our land to let the building begin. They have also taken care of this whole process so well. They also answer all of our 100 questions quickly and never make you feel bad for asking questions, super helpful admin team!
All in all, we have really enjoyed the process because this team is so friendly and fun, but they also collectively have a lot of experience in this industry which is evident from the service they have provided to us.
If you are looking for a builder who will be honest with you and who WILL have your best interest in mind, PLEASE do yourself a favour and just meet with them. Oh! And they are awesome with the finance side of things too.
