The government’s Economic Recovery Plan has included a further 10,000 places in the First Home Loan Deposit Scheme. These additional places are specifically reserved for first home buyers purchasing and provide a more flexible timeline to accommodate building a new home or purchasing off the plan.

The First Home Loan Deposit Scheme has proven highly successful in helping first home buyers with less than 20% deposit overcome large up-front transaction costs.
